| Description |
English: Stronelea. Stronelea no longer exists, but the outline of its arable field can still be seen. I have read that there was once an inn in the area. Other than hillwalkers, few come this way now, but Glen Fionnlighe is a natural route to either end of Loch Arkaig, and this would have been a junction of drove roads.
Along the trackless paths of these glens, you can see evidence of the footpath erosion caused by the passage of the cattle. |
