Summary
[edit]DescriptionSummit Cairn of Meall Odhar - geograph.org.uk - 1238672.jpg |
English: Summit Cairn of Meall Odhar This fine wee hill at 2,150 feet is a Graham. (Mountains between 2,000 and 2,499 feet in height). It affords spectacular views of the surrounding hills such as the Munros Ben Oss to the left, and Ben Lui to the right of the photo. For several centuries gold and other minerals have periodically been mined in this area and once, a mile from here, I found a rusting prospectors pan but no gold ! This hill is now entirely encircled by impenetrable forestry but a firebreak SE of the summit near Cononish affords access. |
