Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Sundew. Round-leaved Sundew (Drosera rotundifolia) growing close to the Rhyd-Ddu path, Snowdon. Sundew is an insectivorous plant - insects are attracted by and become entrapped in the sweet sticky mucilage exuded by the plant and their bodies are then digested by the plant, which can thereby survive on nutrient-poor soils. See Sundew for more information.
