Rittenhouse, married Joseph Harvey Nourse,son of James and Sarah Harvey Nourse, March, 1853. Theceremony was performed by Dr. Laurie, the grandfather ofIsabel, who died a month afterwards, having preached in thecity of Washington fifty years. Mrs. Isobel L. Rittenhousedied February, 1883. Children of Benjamin Franklin Rittenhouse and secondwife, Henrietta Davidson: Mar> D. Rittenhouse, married Rev. A. Miller Woods,son of Rev. Dr. James W^oods, of Lewisburg, and Miss With-erspoon (who w^as the daughter of Dr. Witherspoon, ofPrinceton, of the eminent family of that name, one of whomsigned the Declaration of Independence). The marriage cer-emony was performed by Rev. Dr. Woods. Henrietta W. Rittenhouse. married Captain Thomas Wil-son (U. S. A.), a graduate of West Point, in Georgetown, Dis-trict of Columbia, by Rev. Dr. Bocock (Presbyterian), May 6,1858.

David Rittenhouse, married Mary Tilghman Earle, May24, 1887; is receiving teller in Riggs and Companys Bank,Washington, District of Columbia. Clementina Crawford Rittenhouse, married R. S. T.
