Description

Sylvan Park in Redlands, CA is home to part of the ancient sanja canal. In several places craftsmen have built bridges across it. The canal is hand-dug, and most of the year it is dry. But when it rains, it can become a roaring rapids.

(They pronounce it 'sahn-ya,' and we pronounce it 'sand-key.')
