CHAPTER III. PICTURED ROCKS AT DOG RIVER — BY DILIGENCE TO DAMASCUS. RIDING-PARTY, made up of theyoung doctors and the missionariesdaughters from the American Col-lege, was organized the day beforeI left Beirut. Our destination wasthe mountain of the Pictured Rocks,at Dog River.
