Description
English: The textbook discusses the basics of production, processing and properties of the base types of polymers, which are recommended for use in various fields of medicine: surgery and traumatology, ophthalmology, pharmacy, dentistry, etc. The features of the interaction of polymers with living body tissues, modification and preparation methods polymer surfaces in contact with living tissues, the basic methods of manufacturing products from polymer and composite materials based on them for medicine are described.
