Description
Slovenščina: Usposobljen mentor v programu je srčika programa MEPI, ker zagotavlja uravnoteženost izbranih aktivnosti, dosegljivost osebnih ciljev in skladnost z mednarodnimi zahtevami programa. Poudarek je na mentorskem pristopu in sistematičnem osebnostnem spremljanju udeleženca.

Nedvomno so izvajalci vitalni del programa saj so tisti, ki neposredno izvajajo program z mladimi. Vključujemo številne prostovoljce različnih profilov širom Slovenije. Vse mladinske delavce in mladinske voditelje usposabljamo po mednarodno akreditiranih programih in pri tem uporabljamo sodobne metode neformalnega učenja in dela z mladimi. Informacije o vsebinah usposabljanja so na voljo na http://mepi.si/izvajalci/usposabljanja/.

Vloge, ki jih odrasli lahko prevzamejo kot izvajalci Programa MEPI: 

   - mentor
   - voditelj odprav
   - področni inštruktor
   - spremljevalec
   - ocenjevalec
   - koordinator

Program MEPI je edinstven mednarodni program osebno socialnega razvoja, ki mlade med 14. in 25. letom vabi, da prevzamejo odgovornost za lastni osebnostni in poklicni razvoj. V tujini priznanje poznajo pod imenom Priznanje vojvode Edinburškega (DofE), v Sloveniji pa deluje po imenom MEPI. Program mlade spodbuja k ustvarjalnemu in ciljno naravnanemu preživljanju prostega časa, s poudarkom na odkrivanju in usmerjanju potenciala in temelji na dejstvu, da imamo vsi ljudje skrite talente, ki jih lahko razvijamo šele, ko jih spoznamo.
