| Description |
English: Telscombe Tye Much of the downland around the village was once common land, the part between the village and the coast has reverted to that partially through Ambrose Gorham's refusal to sell the land to Charles Neville the developer of Peacehaven and Saltdean. The Tye extends westwards and northwards too and is still worked by Stud Farm, Gorham's old farm in the village. Taken from the lane this view looks towards Tennat Hill. |
