| Description |
English: Temple Wood: In the north section of Temple Wood the trees are mainly ash although there are some oak as well. These can be seen in the photograph as the trees that are showing green. This clearly shows the scrubby bramble undergrowth.
"Ash before Oak, we're in for a soak; Oak before Ash, we're in for a splash" as the old saying goes. Unfortunately we could do with a "soak" this year as the ground is already cracking up in the unseasonably dry weather. |
