In its f urther course the anterior tibial nerve accompanies the anterior tibial arteryin its entire length, and can be exposed by the same incisions. It lies to the outerside of the artery, except below, where it lies upon its anterior and inner aspect. On the front of the leg. As the nerve here accompanies the artery in its wholelength, it is exposed in the same manner as the artery (q.v.). To expose the nerve on the dorsum of the foot, vide Fig. 135.
