Notethe many small negative gall-stoneshadows throughout the gall-bladder. gall-bladder pathology should be con-sidered wrong until the accused gall-bladder has, at least, been opened, orbetter still, has been removed and sub-mitted for pathological examination. We each night for two or three nights previous TECHNIQUE The patient is instructed to take twodrams of compound licorice powders The Roentgenological Study of the Pathological Gall-BIadder to the examination, and to eat no eveningmeal the day previous and no breakfast onthe morning of the examination. We firstmake from two to four exposures of thegall-bladder region (including all the areabetween the crest of the ilium and tenth adhesions or pressure involving thestomach and duodenum, or any other find-ings that might have been missed on ourfirst series of films. The hepatic flexure ofthe colon is studied at eighteen to twenty-four hours.
