| Description |
English: The Arriva bus garage, Aberystwyth in 2001 Viewed from the railway station platform. Several changes since this shot was taken. The garage is no longer used for buses, it is now (2017) a site office/depot for building works. Just past the fence are the cattle pens of Aberystwyth livestock market, but by then disused. It now forms part of the site of the Ystwyth retail park. The platform in the immediate foreground was a survivor from the closed line to Carmarthen but it, too, has since been extensively altered to accommodate the raised but lower platform for the Vale of Rheidol Railway. |
