Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe Beaufort Arms, coaching inn and restaurant - geograph.org.uk - 1754100.jpg |
English: The Beaufort Arms, coaching inn and restaurant Extracts from the inn's website:
There has been a building on this site in view of the castle well before the Siege of Raglan Castle in 1646 when Roundhead soldiers used the Beaufort to refresh themselves during the length of the siege. During the 19th century the inn was a popular mailcoach stop on the South Wales-Fishguard route, the old stables of today being where the farriers worked. http://www.beaufortraglan.co.uk/index.php |
