| Description |
English: The Black Lion A well known pub in waterways and railway circles, but only otherwise accessible on foot. In the foreground, on the boundary of this square, are the tracks of the Churnett Valley Railway (CVR). Both the adjacent Caldon Canal and the CVR have been restored. Had this not happened it is difficult to see how this gem of an unspoilt English pub would have survived. |
