Description
English: The British Commander in Chief, General Haig (mounted centre) salutes New Zealand troops during the march past. On a horse immediately behing him is General Andrew Russell. Standing behind him are the chiefs of the French and Belgian missions. To their left and mounted is Mr Winston Churchill. Photograph taken in France on 14 September 1917 by Henry Armytage Sanders.
