English: The Duirinish Stone The community here chose to mark the turn of the 20th to the 21st century by erecting this stone. It came from a beach in south Skye, weighs five tons and stands five metres tall.
It was raised using traditional non-mechanical methods. Hard work. In the background is Healabhal Mhor. |
