English: The F-5 tornado that devastated a good portion of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, just barely missed destroying Tinker AFB, Oklahoma . The base caught the outer edge of the tornado and suffered little major damage, but numerous cars were damaged, 20 buildings had major damage, and lots of debris covered the base. A compact car lies on it's left side next to a fallen tree. Both are in front of an airmen's dormitory. |
