s lately. ^— We learn that the floral decorations at theBrompton Oratory on the occasion of the Dake ofNorfolks wedding were carried out by Mr. Wills.Some of the finest Nepenthes were used in the decora-tion ; one specimen, over 7 feet high—NepenthesRafllesiana—had over sixty fine pitchers on ic j otherspecimens, nearly as large, of Nepenthes Dominiana,having large numbers of fine pitcher;:. OdontoglossumAlexandrse was used in quantity, and upwards of 2000white Camellia blooms, besides large quantities ofchoice white flowers. We understand that Mr. James Dhummond, gardener at Biair Drummond, has resigned hischarge there. He has been a gardener fifty-nineyears, forty-nine of which he has spent at BlairDrummond. During most o! his time at BJair Drum-mond he has been a member of the committee of theStirling Horticultural Society.
