Horticultural Club.—A special dinner of this Club was held on Tuesday evening, which wasone of the most successful that has as yet been held.Between thirty and forty members and their friendswere present. The chair was occupied by Mr. JohnLee, who was supported by the Hon. and Rev. J. T.Boscawen, Dr. Hogg, Dr. Masters, Messrs. Veitch,Adams, Osborn, Turner, Wheatstone, Harty, Deal,G. Paul, Rivers, Cutbush, Prince, &c. Amongstthe visitors were Messrs. Henri and Maurice Vilmorinof Paris, Mr. Barron of Elvaston, Mr. Rutland, Mr.Laird, and Mr. Sewell.
