Insurance against Hailstorms.—From the thirty-seventh annual report of the General Hail- ( storm Insurance Society, Norwich, it appears that theIj most destructive hailstorm in 1880 was that of June 19, proving that the district was more than usually subjectto hailstorms. During the entire season thirty hail-storms in seven counties were registered by theSociety as damaging crops insured by them.
