Lawrenceanum, in-cluding the finely-coloured C. L. hackbridgense,thrive admirably here along with C. insigneSanderae, C. i. Sanderianum, and other tolerablycool-house varieties. Mr. Hopkins, the gardener L.-C. X Haroldiana, the true La^lia Gouldiana,L. anceps Schroderse var. Theodora, for which anAward of Merit was recently awarded; and othergood forms of L. anceps; Cattleya amethysto-glossa Dom Pedro, &c.
