He drank from a bottle containingsome acid and paraffin by mistake for lemonade.The shock of the discovery caused heart failure,although the mixture in itself was not of apoisonous character. DAMAGE TO ABERDEEN GARDENS.Wanton injury has been caused to several Aber-deen Gardens. One of those most injured is the tion of the Royal Housing Commission, and adeputation from that body is investigating thesubject by personal visits to the fruit-grow-ing districts. They recently visited the Clydes-dale district, and inspected the bothies and otherbuildings occupied by the pickers. Corre-spondent. RANDIA MACULATA.
