As a protectionagainst exposures of the lens to fog,mist or dirt, use is made of a safetyshutter in front of the lens. A direct vision tubular finder having inter-secting vertical and horizontal wiresprovides proper sighting facilities.Both cameras are fitted with 10-inchHawkeye Aerial Lenses and FocalPlane Shutters. With the B-1 Cam-era daylight loading also can be ac-complished. Looking toward the peace timedevelopment of aviation, thesehand-held cameras. Models A-1 andB-1, make a strong appeal to thecivilian aviator. Today photographyoccupies a large place in the affairsof every one of us, and these twocameras broaden the scope of photo-graphy so as to include the realm ofair. If you happen to be the man inyour store who has the windows incharge, do not be discouraged be-cause you have not a large stock ofdisplay fixtures to draw from;rather you should be encouragedbecause you can confine yourself tothe simpler effects—and the simplereffects get over to the passerby theoftenest.
