English: The Liverpool end of the Leeds & Liverpool Canal. The main line used to go further in towards Liverpool's centre, but most of the section has been infilled. The branch down Stanley Locks into the Dock system finished here on the Dock Road (Regent Road), with this lift bridge, seen from the south, with the famous Tobacco Warehouse on the right. |
