Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Marlow Donkey The branch line between Maidenhead and Marlow, via Bourne End, is one of the survivors. It is affectionately know as "the Marlow Donkey" although these days it is operated by any one of the more prosaic class 365 2-car diesel multiple units (DMUs) based at Reading. This is Spade Oak crossing, where a footpath crosses the single track line. The train has to stop, then proceed at 10mph. This makes the passage of the line quite slow, but with all the hooting you know the train is coming.
