[edit]DescriptionThe NIOSH FACE Program- A Five Year Look-Back.webm |
English: Falls remain the leading cause of death in construction and accounted for 370 of the 991 construction fatalities in 2016. To commemorate the “5-year mark” of the National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction, we highlight the NIOSH FACE Program and the role the NIOSH FACE states have in promoting the National Campaign to Prevent Falls in Construction including the National Stand-Down. We hear how Kentucky, Massachusetts, Washington and Oregon have been involved, the impact they have seen and why others should join in to prevent construction falls.
