Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe Old Chapel at Hartpury - geograph.org.uk - 790362.jpg |
English: The Old Chapel at Hartpury The Old Chapel was built on the roadside close to Hartpury Court in 1830 as a Roman Catholic chapel. At the time Hartpury Court was a school run by Dominican nuns although this closed in 1832. The chapel was used as a farm store for many years before returning for a short time as a place of worship in 1940. It then reverted to its use as a store until restored and re-opened as a community hall in 2001. |
