Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe Old Clubhouse, Princes Golf Course - geograph.org.uk - 1521456.jpg |
English: The Old Clubhouse, Princes Golf Course The building was partly destroyed by fire on 3 March 2008. Scaffolding was erected to minimise the risk of damage to the existing structure. Two proposals have been submitted to Dover District Council to either refurbish and convert the building to form residential accommodation for visiting golfers together with 5 guest bedroom suites or to convert the building to form mainly holiday accommodation for golfers to comprise a total of 14 flats. On the horizon are the cooling towers and chimney of Richborough Power Station which was closed in 1996. |
