WNBR,Memphis.—Ewing Carruthers Jr. MAJOR ELECTED CO-CAPTAINOF SLMPSON TRACK TEAM Bill Loundsbury, a great star lastyear in track at Simpson College is go-ing to be quite an attraction in footballthis season. This summer he is workingin Alaska, having to be taken to workin an aeroplane at the first of the sum-mer and taken back at the end. Heprobably will be in wonderful conditionfor football and track. Bill weighs over200 pounds. Max Miller and Allen Major, our starhurdler and quarter-miler respectively,are going out there on the track this yearand show us some speed. Major waselected co-captain of the track team fornext season. P. A. Dyer and Lewis Kimer wereour representatives at Congress. Our chapter house is being remodeledand redecorated this summer. We mayadd a new section onto the house inwhich our Mother will live. Rushing w^as put a week ahead thisyear thus making it the first week afterschool starts.
