walk to the top of the hill.This is the best observation spot in the metropolitan area. Bymeans of a well-made road, tourists are enabled to ascend Consti-tution Hill (nearly 800 ft.) with ease. From Mirror Point acharming view of the Enoggera Reservoir and the hills surround-ing Brookfield and Moggill is obtained. At this elevation thereis a second shelter-shed. On the western horizon the ruggedbeauty of the stretch of mountain scenery, from TambourineMountain to Mount Mitchell and Cunninghams Gap, can be seenwithout the aid of glasses. Soft refreshments of all kinds canbe obtained at the kiosk at all hours of the day. Cost by tram,3d. each way. 15. Whites Hill (369 ft.) is about 6 miles from Brisbane,and the quickest means of reaching it is by taxi-cab or motor-car.Special arrangements can be made with the proprietors of thecabs or cars for the conveyance of parties to this popular look-out place. Many attractions are provided for visitors. Refresh-ments are obtainable at all hours.

Take Greenslopes tram from the Intelligence and TouristBureau to terminus (3d.) ; return by same tram to the Fiveways,Woolloongabba (2d.); take the East Brisbane tram to that ter-minus (Id.); walk about fifty yards further on to ferry, whichwill take you to the opposite bank of the river (Id.) ; from herea walk of about five minutes straight up the road will bring youto the New Farm tram, by which return to City (2d.). Totalcost of trip, 9d. Time occupied on trip about l1^ hours. 2. Take Ascot tram from Intelligence and Tourist Bureau toterminus (3d.); return by same tram to Breakfast Creek (2d.);take Clayfield tram on to that terminus (2d.) ; from here takeyour ticket right through to Gladstone road (or Dutton Park)terminus (6d.).
