It will thus be seen that the work is about as comprehensive as itcan well be; and while the blessings of one year, through the Lordsfavour, seem to be exceeded by those of the one following, all will praythat Mr. Orsman may long be spared to carry on the work to which hehas put his hand. Hoxton is a poor place; but how much poorer itwould be without Costers Hall, the people themselves would testify, ifany were to question them. <&xmt\ Hill §a$fet $jrapl. MANY Baptists in Yorkshire, and elsewhere, will long retain the memoryof Henry Dowson, of Bradford, a fine, solid, genial soul, with deeplyimbedded Strict Communion views. Coming to London in his latter days,he commenced a church in 1878. The meetings of this community were heldin an iron building for some ten years. Iron buildings are too hot in summerand too cold in winter ; and the very best thing that happens to them is tobe pulled down, and done with. This auspicious end was reached in Januaryof this year, 1889; and, like a phoenix rising from its ashes, the handsomered brick building succeeded the uncomfortable ironclad. In this new building, Mr. Harry Pullen, once a student of the PastorsCollege, is labouring with all his might among a people who hold fast thefaith.
