| Description |
English: The Terrace, Spilsby The white building is the Old Town Hall. Upstairs was for civic duties and downstairs, which was open arches, was used for market traders in times of bad weather. Part of Spilsby's popularity was its Monday market, which extended to this end of the town and even where I'm standing. Apparently the market was discontinued this side of the Old Town Hall because of Health & Safety issues, like assembling and dismantling the stalls amid the traffic. The market has seen a steady decline and I don't go to it anymore. |
