Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Waverley line in Liddesdale In the middle ground, a straight line across the photo marks the track of the old Waverley line, the railway from Carlisle to Edinburgh which went the way of Beeching in the 1960s. The railway lies just this side of the river Liddel and just inside England at this point. Tinnisburn Forest can be seen in the distance.
