| Description |
English: The Wey & Arun Canal near Alfold Crossways. The Wey and Arun Canal was closed and abandoned well over 130 years ago but it is slowly being restored to life. This section is once again in water. Sadly, the bridge that once carried the road over the canal has long since been flattened and will need to be replaced at vast expense if boats are ever to come this way again. |
