Text Appearing Before Image:
64 inch wouldprobably suit you best. J. D. Shannon (Clogher.)—All three aregood, the Sovereign we only know by proxy. The New Howe No. 10 and the QuadrantGenet we are more familiar with. 54 inch gearand 6^ inch cranks would best suit a big manlike you for rough hilly roads. The great volume of G. & J. pneumatic tirebusiness which is pouring in upon the Gormully& Jeffery Mfg. Co., would indicate that thatold reliable pneumatic is holding its own, not-withstanding the number of new tires put onthe market. It is a noticeable fact that thosevery people whose only objection to the G. &J. tire was the corrugated tread, now insistupon having nothing but the corrugated tread. These tires are now furnished with eithersmooth or corrugated surface, but the percent-age of smooth-surface tires ordered is verysmall. The fact that this tire will not fall offwhen deflated, makes it a leader among detach-able pneumatics. First Annual Run of the Intf rnational Crank Inventors Cycling Club.
Text Appearing After Image:
An Expert Mechanic Says: I have ridden for many years, and am familiar with the construction of nearly all makes of bicycles. I have examinedwith care the construction of your wheels, and I am free to say that I have never found better material, finer and more perfectfinish, simpler and more scientific design, the whole put together in a better proportioned and balanced machine, than Ifind in the PHOENIX. The above is NOT advertising imagination; it is an actual and disinterested tribute. 33 LBS. ACTUAL
