The Pointal, natural fize, with the fummits detached, magnified. Our figure, which exhibits a fmall plant, of this fuperb fpecies of tuberous Geranium, was takenin the month of June, this year, 1802, at Meffrs. Colvilles nurfery, Kings Tvoad, Chelfea, and where itis ftill in high perfe&ion, this prefent month of July. We have every reafon to believe, from all theauthorities we are matters of, that this plant has not, till now, flowered in Europe. It forms a verylarge tuberous root, by the dividing of which it is to be propagated; as we fufpecr. the feeds will notripen on this fpecies more than moft of its congeners. It has the fame manner with the reft of thetuberous fpecies, lofing its leaves in winter, when they are fubject to rot, if much watered.
