| Description |
English: The church of SS Peter & Paul - C15 baptismal font The church of SS Peter & Paul > 861761 has a round tower that is capped with a lead spike. Extensively restored during the 19th century, and because of the absence of stained glass windows - apart from a few small fragments of medieval glass high up in one of the south wall windows > 861804 - the interior is bright and airy > 861773 - 861808. There is a C15 font (seen here) with a cover that is dated to 1638 > 861816. The pulpit > 861780 dates from 1635. Most notable, though, is the fine collection of medieval bench ends > 861784 - 861787 - 861797 - 861801 depicting animals, musicians and scenes from everyday life. The church is open every day.
