English: The city walls and the distance marker '1 Mile ½'. Looking along the city walls towards the Old Dee Bridge and the spire of St Mary's church Handbridge. On the left the large square stone set in the wall is the distance marker '1 Mile ½', which indicates the distance from the Eastgate Clock if you walk in an anti-clockwise direction.
