English: The drawbridge and The Drawbridge near Shirley, Solihull This is Drawbridge Road crossing Shirley Drawbridge (No 8) over the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal, just in Worcestershire between Shirley and Hollywood. The Drawbridge gongoozlers public house is seen framed by the iron support structure.
The drawbridge is operated by boat crews electrically using a BWB key in the equipment in a control box on the towpath side of the water. |
