Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy G.3976.49 halfbound in early black painted goatskin and gray paper. Title stamped in gilt along the spine. Armorial bookplate of the Barton Library. Greek inscription on the title page, with similar inscription, in pencil, at head of F2 recto. Manuscript correction on I1 verso. K2 verso begins with "As when she."
Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy G.3976.50 halfbound in early maroon painted goatskin and marbled paper. Title stamped in gilt along the spine. Armorial bookplate of the Barton Library. A1 and A4 wanting and replaced in ca. 18th-century pen facsimile. Additional manuscript leaf inserted before A2 containing list of "persons represented." Autograph of Thomas Yeates, in a ca. 17th-century hand, on B1 recto. This copy presents the typographical peculiarity ascribed by the ESTC to an early variant state of K2.
