Often a °rotesciue face grimace maker, dorchester, oxon. will be found added to a beautiful design of foliage, either asthe conventional mask, as in the design in Lincoln ChapterHouse, or a realistic head, as the following grim, dourvisage between graceful curves on a misericord at KingsCollege, Cambridge.
