English: The lodge gatehouse of Baron Hill Baron Hill, the stately home of the Bulkeley family fell into disrepair after WWII when it was used, first, as an officers' mess and, later, as a resettlement centre for the Polski Korpus Przysposobienia i Rozmieszczenia (Polish Resettlement Corps). There are plans afoot to refurbish the house to create luxury apartments. |
