| Description |
English: The middle part of Hengwm Away from its broad marshy start, here the cwm is well defined as the Afon Hengwm heads towards Pumlumon Fawr, seen on the horizon. The hill on the left with the distinctive strata is Pen Cerrig Tewion, the northern outlier of the Pumlumon massif. The river at this point is within the square, as shown on the Explorer map but not the Landranger; the path is nearer the river than the bridleway marked on both maps. |
