Description
English: Lt. Gen. R. Steven Whitcomb passes the Third Army colors to chief of staff of the Army, Gen. George Casey, during the Third Army/U.S. Army Central change of command at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Dec. 18, 2007. By passing the colors, Lt. Gen. Whitcomb symbolically passed the reins of authority to Lt. Gen. James J. Lovelace, the new Third Army commanding general. (Photo/Gunnery Sgt. Chris W. Cox, Third Army/U.S. Army Central)
