| Description |
English: Down freight at Bullhouse, west of Penistone. View eastward, towards Penistone, Wath, Sheffield etc.: ex-GC Manchester - Sheffield main line, under electrification. (See SE2102 : Up freight on Manchester - Sheffield line at Bullhouse, west of Penistone for further detail). The Class F freight is climbing up towards Woodhead Tunnel, headed by ex-WD 2-8-0 No. 90594. This engine was built as WD No. 7149 (77149) in 12/43, loaned to the LNER until 11/44, then shipped to France, returned in 6/46, stored at Annesley, loaned to the LNER and acquired by BR(ER), being renumbered 90594 and eventually withdrawn in 9/62. |
