Summary

English: Tiddles' memorial, Fairford Churchyard. Tiddles was a stray cat that "adopted" the verger and his wife in 1963 and became a firm favourite with the congregation at 553100. When Tiddles died in 1980 a local stonemason carved this monument to her. In keeping with this tradition there is still a Tiddles living in the church porch today and keeping watch on visitors 553098. See also http://www.purr-n-fur.org.uk/featuring/church02.html |
