Timglas från 1500-talet.
Nyckelord: Timglas, 1500-tal, Föremålsbild, Tidmätning

Description

Svenska: Nordeuropa, c:a 1561-1583.
Ställning i silver, delvis förgyllt. Ena sidan med vapensköld för ätterna Brahe och Stenbock, den andra med monogram "PB" under grevlig krona av äldre typ.
Ostämplad.
Tre balusterformade ståndare, runda plattor. På den ena PB under friherrekrona, på den andra fyrdelad sköld med fem liljor i första, ryttare i andra, brahevapnet i tredje och stenbocksvapnet i fjärde fältet.
Proveniens: Med största sannolikhet Per Brahe d.ä. (1520-1590, greve 1561, gift 1549 med Beata Stenbock 1532-1583). Även hans sonson, Per Brahe d.y., var gift Stenbock, men typen av grevekrona, monogrammets utformning och stilmässiga skäl talar för den äldre dateringen.
