| Description |
English: Tincleton: postbox № DT2 211, Clyffe House This may seem to be an unlikely place to find a working psotbox, so far from the public road. But there was a post office named Clyffe, replaced in the early 20th century by the one at Tincleton (which itself closed in the 70s) so it is possible that this was once the centre of the village.
Anyway, the box is emptied at 9am on weekdays and half an hour earlier on Saturdays, while behind it we see the façade of 1707647. |
