Description
A letter of application, dated Aug. 4, 1818, for the chair of medicine in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania. Signed: Thomas Cooper, M. D. The "written testimonies" stated to have been mislaid were later recovered by the author and published separately. Cf. his Papers printed in confirmation of Dr. Cooper's claims as a physician (Philadelphia, 1818)
